Introduction to S K Enterprises' Resume Search Module
The Resume Search Module provides a vehicle for searching S K Enterprises' Resume Bank. The Resume Bank contains the following candidate/applicant information:
- The Candidate ID Number
- The S K Job ID under which the candidate is listed. This entry is very important because it essentially governs who "owns" the candidate. There are basically three ways a candidate can come to enter a resume into the Resume Bank: 1) the candidate can go to skenterprises.net Recruiting Web page, register and enter a resume with no S K Job ID, 2) the candidate can go to the skenterprises.net Recruiting Web page and Search the Job Board, which will allow him/her to enter their resume with a particular S K Job ID, or 3) the candidate could find a job posted on another job site, with directions to enter his/her resume at the skenterprises.net Recruiting Web page under a particular S K Job ID. If a candidate's resume is associated with only one S K Job ID, the employer, or professional staffing firm who entered that Job ID will be the only User that can directly retrieve candidate information other than the Candidate ID number. Any other user searching the Resume Bank finding that Candidate ID will only receive the Candidate ID and the contact information for the User who "owns" that candidate. Thus, the two users can negotiate a fee, if any, for use (or successful placement) of that candidate. It is possible for a candidate to be associated with more than one S K Job ID (if they apply for more than one job listed on the Job Board). If that happens, the Candidate ID and User contact information will be displayed for all Users associated with all S K Job IDs for that candidate. The searching user would then have a choice of other Users to contact about that candidate. If a Candidate ID is associated with no S K Job ID, the User's search will retrieve all of the candidate's information. See also Job Manager for additional information.

The sceen resulting from a search provides the following information, which can be for the User who "owns" the candidate, or the candidate:
- The Candidate ID Number (and a radio selection button, if that Candidate ID is not associated with an existing S K Job ID)
- Last Name, First Name
- E-mail Address (and Company Name, if associated with a S K Job ID)
- Contact Phone Number
- View Selected Resume Button
Selecting a Candidate ID (by clicking the radio button) and clicking the "Click to View Selected Resume Button," will show a screen with all of the information stored for that Candidate ID. The user can then review the candidate's qualifications and determine whether or not to follow-up with that candidate. Here the user can choose to store the candidate's contact information as a "Choice" candidate under a particular Job ID (not the S K Job ID) and continue examining other candidate's identified in the search. If the user adds the candidate to the "Choice" candidate list, the user has the option of adding any candidate from that list to an E-mail Group eith Group ID equal to the Job ID. The list of "Choice" candidates includes the following information:
- A "Delete" Checkbox (used to delete a candidate from the list)
- The Job ID
- The Candidate ID
- Last Name
- First Name
- A Checkbox to add the Candidate to an E-mail Group, and the E-mail Address
- Contact Phone
- A Submit button
Finally, the user can use the list of "Choice" candidates for follow-up. This screen is also reached from Job Manager.
